PLEASE ANSWER ASAP!!! 28 POINTS

The wavelengths of visible light are between 3.8x10^-7 and 7.6x10^-7. Are these wavelengths longer or shorter than those ultraviolet rays?

Answer:

The wavelengths of ultraviolet rays is shorter than the wavelengths of visible light

Explanation:

we have

the wavelengths of ultraviolet rays is
1000*10^(-10)

Remember that

1000*10^(-10)=1*10^(3)*10^(-10)=1*10^(-7)

Compare with the minimum value of the wavelengths of visible light

1*10^(-7)< 3.8*10^(-7)

therefore

The wavelengths of ultraviolet rays is shorter than the wavelengths of visible light
