We know that:

_nP_k = (n!)/((n-k)!)

so in this case
n = 5,
k=3 and:

_5P_3=(5!)/((5-3)!)=(5!)/(2!)=(5\cdot4\cdot3\cdot2\cdot1)/(2\cdot1)=(120)/(2)=\boxed{60}
