In Δ ABC and ΔD BC

∠A=∠D-------Given

∠ABC=∠DCB-------Each being 90° given in the Diagram.

Side, BC is Common.

⇒⇒Δ ABC ≅ ΔD BC-------[AAS]

When two triangles are congruent , their areas are equal.

So, Area(ABC)=Area (DCB)
