Explanation:

You would graph this by plugging x in to the equation that meets its demands

When it says
x\leq-4 then you only use the equation in front of it for when x is less than or equal to 4.

By going through and plugging each number in individually, it becomes simple to graph.

the equation that satisfies x=-3 is
(x+2)^2-3 so you would put it in there to find f(x)

(-3+2)^2-3

-1^2 -3

1-3

-2
