I am doing a project on the following 2 topics. I have to choose 1 of them and I was wondering what was the easiest to write about!?


Topics:

1. Sparta

2. Athens

Answer: Sparta is DEFINITELY Easier

They would only raise a baby if it was Strong and healthy

As Philip II of Macedon was conquering Greek city-states left and right, Sparta was left alone. Philip had achieved a crushing victory, and Sparta was relatively weak and without walls. Philip sent a message to the Spartans saying “If I invade Lakonia I will slaughter your people, burn your crops, take your Valuables, and Destroy everything. The Spartans replied with one word, “If.”

Neither Philip ll nor Alexander the Great attacked the Spartans while they ruled.

it depends do you want to focus on military aspects for greek life or the arts and democracy personally i would go with Sparta as you can find a lot more information on greek battle doctrines than say the Athenian battles other than Artemesium strait or the battle of marathon
