NEED HELPPPP NOWWWWW PLEASEEEEE

Participation in the military is not a required civic duty for all American citizens, but it is required in some other countries like Germany, Switzerland and Japan. Do you think that military service should be a requirement for all citizens? Be sure to explain and support your answer in paragraph form.

No, I don't think they should because people are being forced to leave their families and friends. When someone joins the military they put their whole life behind them and go off to a place that is the least bit comfortable. They are yelled at and punished in ways most people couldn't understand. People who join the military are usually left scarred mentally and physically. I believe if someone is not going into the military by choice they shouldn't be forced or told "It's their civic duty"
