soln,

given equation of line is:

y= 12 x + 3

or, 12x - y = -3 ………….........(i)

so,

slope of eqn (i) (m1) = -a/b

=-12/-1

= 12

so,

slope of line parallel to eqn (i) is also 12.

Answer: (This was a copied answer, I don't know if it is 100% right)

1/2

Explanation:

y=mx+b

m=slope

paralell lines have the same slope

y=1/2x+3

m=slope=1/2

the slope of the paralelll line is 1/2
