Fought in July of 1863, the correct answer is the Battle of Gettysburg.

In 1863, the Confederate Army was on the rise and they decided to take the battle to the North for the first time.

The North was able to stop the traitorous Confederate army over a three day battle in South Central Pennsylvania.

This, combined with the Siege of Vicksburg, turned the tide of the war.
