X=1 that’s the answer to your question all I did was subtract 3 on both sides and that leaves me with 2x=2 and then divide 2 on both sides and then X=1

Answer:

x=1

Explanation:

First, subtract 3 from both sides. Then divide both sides by two and you will get x=1.

Here is how it goes:

  1. 2x+3=5
  2. 2x=2
  3. x=1
