Find the Greatest Common Factor (GCF)

GCF = 6

Factor out the GCF (Write the GCF first and then in parenthesis, divide each term by the GCF)

6(12p/6 + 30/6)

Simplify each term that is within the parenthesis

6(2p + 5)
