a) a stimulus

The hawk flying overhead is the stimulus. The mouse running to the nearest hole is the response to the stimulus.

It's obviously not a one-cell (unicellular) organism.

A developmental change is something changes because an organism is growing. Example: A tadpole going through developmental stages to change into a frog. So that answer is incorrect as well.
