Hi there,

your answer to this is : B)Warm air rises and takes heat with it; eventually it cools and sinks.

Heat Convection. Convection is heat transfer by mass motion of a fluid such as air or water when the heated fluid is caused to move away from the source of heat, carrying energy with it. Convection above a hot surface occurs because hot air expands, becomes less dense, and rises.

I hope this helps you out

you have a great Afternoon

First you have to ask yourself, what is convection? The definition of convection is "the movement caused within a fluid by the tendency of hotter and therefore less dense material to rise, and colder, denser material to sink under the influence of gravity, which consequently results in transfer of heat." according to the dictionary. So think about it. Which answer talks about sinking and rising?

If you haven't figured it out yet, it's B.
