false. although you tried to do the right thing panhandling is still bad. instead of giving them the money you should help the situation by giving the money to a charity that helps give homeless people a helping hand the right way

True. Its not your fault they abused your kindness. You took the initiative, and that's what matters. However, if you know they are going to use it for something bad, don't lend them money.
