Much more. When you go to a doctor's office and they need to check your weight, the first thing they do is make you take your shoes off, especially if they are clunky like mine. (They're winter boots).

Ballet Slippers are a lot closer to an ounce, but they are still much heavier. I'm trying to think of something that is about an ounce. Try a dollar's worth of American quarters (like 4 quarters). That would be under an ounce, but it's close.

If you compare your slippers to 4 quarters I think you'll find the slippers are heavier.
