Answer: 8 1/3

Explanation:

First I would create common denominators by multiplying each denominator which turns out to be 6. then i would add all the fractions (3/6 + 2/6 + 5/6) to get 10/6. You can simplify it by dividing by 2 to get 5/3 which is 1 and 2/3. Then you multiply 1 and 2/3 to get 8 and 1/3

Answer:

She walks w miles in one week.

Explanation:

Jasmine Walks
(1)/(2) Mile to school after school.

She wore a \frac{1}{3} mile to her aunt's house.

She walked
(5)/(6) mile home.

Total distance traveled =
(1)/(2)+(1)/(3) +(5)/(6)

=
(5)/(3)

Jasmine walks the same path every day Monday through Friday i.e. 5 days

Total distance traveled in 1 day =
(5)/(3)

Total distance traveled in 5 day =
(5)/(3) * 5

= 3 miles

Hence she walks w miles in one week.
