You gotta use PEMDAS

so first do the Exponents ( 2x^2 =4x)

4x+6x+4

next you add the both simalar numbers that are (2x+6x=8x)

so now u have 8x+4

all i need is the other side of the equation for example

8x+4=39

you would to +4=39

-4 -4

8x=35

now u divid 8 by 8 and 35 divided by 8 wold be 5

therefore, x=5
