We first convert
\boxed{2 (1)/(5) } into a whole number. Then, we do the same with the other unit. Then, we multply both of the improperly.

After doing that, we thenconvert the answer into a decimal, and that would be our answer, (answer) acres.

∵_____________________∵

\boxed{(11)/(5) * (40)/(9) } = \boxed{\boxed{(88)/(9) }}

We then have our answer as an improper fraction. We convert this to a decimal.

(88)/(9) = 9.29

ANSWER: 9.29 acres
