The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) provides assistance to students that need help to receive education in South Africa but not every prospective student qualifies and everyone that qualifies loans and bursaries for students but not every student qualifies will be granted funding. Threre are other options that a student can take like: Learnerships, Apprenticeships, Bursaries, Loans, Scholarships. These options are similar to NSFAS in that they provide help for students.
