Explanation:

Point slope form is y-y1=m(x-x1)

Then you substitute the coordinates.

The only things you should switch are the y1 and the x1.

In this case -5 is the x and the 7 is the y.

Then you do:

y-7=m(x-(-5)

Then you have y-7=m(x+5)
