ahh okay, so I believe I just helped you before- the equations are y=32x and y=20x +82, if I'm not mistaken.

the y value is the money one, so we'll set each equation to 250. X is the number of people we can bring with each deal, so we want to solve for that. whichever value of x is higher is the better deal for her budget.

250= 32x

*divide both sides by 32*

x= 7.8125, so round down because we can't have fractions of people, and 8 would be too high for the budget

250= 20x+82

*subtract 82 from both sides*

168= 20x

*divide by 20 on both sides*

x= 8.4, so round down, same as before....

So the group special is the better deal because with a budget of 250 you can get 8 people in instead of 7.
