BOC =7x-11

Also angle of arc BC = angle BOC = 3x+53

Since both are the same equate the two


7x-11=3x+534x=64x=16

Now substitute this x value in any one of 3x+53 or 7x-11

Angle COB = angle BOC = 3x+53

= 48+53 = 101 degrees

To find length of arc

Central angle = 101

Hence arc lengh =
(101)/(360) 2(\pi r)\\=2(101)/(360)(3.14)(5)\\=8.81
