\boxed{10 \ LBS}

[] Explanation []

32 Pound Bag Of Dog Food

3 Puppies

==========

We Can Solve This Problem Using Division

32 ÷ 3 = 10.6666666667

This is an irrational number. The puppies can't eat 10.6666666667 pounds of dog food each, so the closest number we have to the left of the decimal is 10. Each of the puppies each about 10 pounds of dog food.

(32)/(3) = 10.666666....

If each dog eats 10 pounds each, only 2 pounds are left in the bag.

If 3 puppies eat a third of those 2 pounds each, it would be a repeating decimal number.

The closest they can get to each eating the same amount would be 10.66667 pounds, or if you want to round, 10.7 pounds each.
