There is an asymptote that where x approaches -infinity and infinity and x is not discontinuous anywhere on the visible graph.

Also, in interval notation you put parenthesis around numbers the function isn't equal to and brackets next to a number that the function is equal to, and since no function actually contains the value infinity, you put parenthesis around it.
