There was a 32% decrease.
I found this by taking 56.95 / 83.75. Then, I subtracted the answer from 1. 1 - .68 = .32
Hope this helps!

Answer:

The percentage of decrease 32.

Explanation:

Given: Rowena’s monthly gasoline bill dropped from $83.75 last month to $56.95 this month.

Here we use formula to find the percentage of decrease.

Percentage of decrease =
(Decrease amount)/(Original amount) *100

Decrease amount = $83.75 - $56.95 = $26.80

Original amount = $83.75

Percentage of decrease =
(26.80)/(83.75) *100

= 0.32*100

= 32%

So the percentage of decrease 32.
