bearing in mind that 1 yard = 0.914 meters, so therefore 27 meters is then 27/0.914 yards and 18 meters is 18/0.914 yards

\bf \stackrel{27~meters}{\cfrac{27}{0.914}yd}\cdot \stackrel{18~meters}{\cfrac{18}{0.914}yd}\qquad \approx\qquad 581.76~yd^2 \\\\\\ \stackrel{\textit{total price}}{(581.76)(12)}\implies 6981.12

Answer:

It will cost 1,181.102$.

Explanation:

The perimeter of the field is the long of fencing. So,

Perimeter = 27+27+18+18 = 90m.

Now, fencing costs 12$ per yard and 1 yard = 0.9144 m. Thus, we calculate the cost with a rule of three

(12)/(x) =
(0.9144m)/(90m)

x =
(90*12)/(0.9144)

x = 1,181.102$.
