For a function of form f(x), slope is equal to f'(x) .

Intercepts:

x-intercept refers to a point at which the graph intersects the x-axis.

y-intercept refers to a point at which the graph intersects the y-axis.

If m is the slope of line and c is y-intercept then slope of line is
y=mx+c

For example if slope of a line is 2 and y-intercept is 5 then equation of slope becomes
y=2x+5
