∴ The 3 sides of each triangle are equal

∵ Regular hexagon is inscribed in a circle

∴ Each vertex of the regular hexagon lies on the circle

∴ the radius of the circle is the the side of the triangle

∴ The length of each side of the triangle = r

∵ The regular hexagon has 6 equal sides all of them are the bases of the six equilateral triangles

∴ The perimeter of hexagon = 6 × r = 6r
