This is the hyperbole. The author is over exaggerating the idea that some people are not cut out for hiking in the backcountry. People don't actually have things stamped on their foreheads that say, "I am going to die in a wilderness accident."
The second option is a generalization. It's saying that anyone who is a Rambo type will die first in battle. The third option is just a statement about what is needed to survive. The fourth option is a paradox that is explained. There is no hyperbole in any of these.
