In the short story, Maria has an argument with her father. Do you think it’s common to disagree with your parents as you get older? Why or why not? Have you ever disagreed with your family? How did you resolve the argument?

Yes, its pretty common, because as you get older you start to want to do things on your own and rebel against your parents decisions to prove a point. I personally never argued against my parents, (cus im black and they don't play dat lol) i personally believe that its disrespectful, because they the reason im here and they do a lot for me.
