you'll substitute x=r cos (theta) and y=r sin (theta) and as you Factor and work to get a polar equations in terms of r this is what it should look like r= (8 sin(theta))/(1+cos^2(theta))

Change the following rectangular equation to a polar equation: 2x^2 + y^2 = 8y-example-1
