Does this equation make sense plz help.

Thedny wants to fix his broken Xbox. he collected quotations from two different engineer. The first engineer's total cost in terms of the number of hours (x) worked was modeled as t(x) = 70 + 5x, while that of the second engineer was g(x) = 30 + 15x. Thedny knows that it will take more than 2 hours to fix his Xbox so he decided to go with the first engineer whose cost is cheaper when the number of hours is above 2 hours.

Simply substitute the values into the equations to see if it's correct:

Since the time taken will be more than 2 hours, we can try it with the value 3

t(x) = 70 + 5(3) = 85

g(x) = 30 + 15(3) = 75

As you can see, this is the incorrect choice as when a value more than 2 hours is used, the second engineer has a cheaper cost.

Hope This Helps You!

Good Luck (:
