∵ The scale factor is 120%

∴ The new length = 12 × 120/100 = 14.4 units

∴ The new width = 5 × 120/100 = 6 units

∵ The scale factor = 120% = 120/100 = 1.2

∵ The scale factor is greater than 1

∴ The new pen is an enlargement
