You use the formula
v=(1)/(3) \pi r^(2) h to solve this right cone!

So first, you plug in the variables:

r = 10 cm

h = 12 cm

Then you plug into the equation:


v=(1)/(3) \pi (10^(2)) (12)

And you solve!!


v=(1)/(3) \pi (100) (12)


v=(1)/(3) \pi 1200


v=400 \pi

And VOILA your answer is 400π cm³!!
