Mediterranean belt is represented by volcanoes as well as uncertain centers of volcanism.

Step-by-step explanation:

The Mediterranean belt is a small belt. It passes through Turkey, southern and eastern Greek Islands, Sicily and western Italy. The belt is a seismic and ''orogenic belt'' that contains several mountain ranges. The plate tectonics are responsible for the formation of this belt.

The belt is the second most active seismic region of the world. The belt is formed because of the collision of the Eurasian plates with the northward moving Indian, African and Arabian plates.

The Mediterranean belt is represented with both ''volcanoes'' and ''possible, but uncertain centers of volcanism. The Mediterranean belt is not a very long one, it is located through Turkey, the southern and eastern Greek islands, Sicily, and the western part of Italy. Despite not being a very large belt, it is a belt that is very active, with the likes of Etna being one of the most active volcanoes on the planet, and the earthquakes being a regular occurrence. This belt is formed because of the convergent boundaries between the Eurasian plate, African plate, and the smaller Arabian plate, so there's constant pressure on the crust.
