b = 1

(x)m = x1 + (a/a+b) * (x2 - x1)

= -1 + 3/4 *(4 + 4)

= 5

(y)m = y1 + (a/a+b)* (y2 - y1)

= -2 + 3/4 (-10 + 2)

= -2 + 3/4(-8)

= -8

So co-ordinates of point M = (5 , -8)
