If f(x) =3x2 and g(x) = x +2, find (f*g)(x)​

Answer:

(f*g)(x) = 3(x + 2)² = 3x² + 12x +12

Explanation:

∵ f(x) = 3x²

∵g(x) = x + 2

∵ (f*g)(x) means the domain of f(x) is g(x)

∴ We will put it like that f(x + 2)

∴ (f*g)(x) = f(x + 2) = 3(x + 2)² = 3(x² + 4x + 4) = 3x² + 12x + 12
