The first step is to isolate y

-6x + 4y = -12 add 6x to both sides
+6x +6x
—–——————
4y = 6x -12 divide both sides by 4
/4 /4 /4

y= 6/4x -3 6/4 can reduce
y=3/2x -3 this is the equation in slope
intercept form. It's easier to
graph now.

-3 is the y-intercept

Go to (0, -3)

In 3/2, 3 is the rise and 2 is the run.
3 is positive so go up 3
2 is positive so go right 2
Then keep going up 3 & right 2 from the previous point.
If you want to go backwards the go the opposite direction of the values.
When you're done making points, connect them.
You should have a straight line that goes like /
