I need to determine the roots of each quadratic equation by compleating the square, then it says to round to the nearest hundreth...

x²-2x-4=0

HOW!? 12 pts!!!

Also pls provide step by step so I can do this on my own!

First, you have to factor.

Then you set your factors to 0.

Your answers will be x=3.24 and x=-1.24
