Hello!

The answer are:

First:

The acceleration of the force of gravity is equal to:
(9.8m)/(s^(2) )

Second:

The average velocity is 8 m/s

Why?

The average velocity is equal to the sum of all the velocities divided by the quantity of them, for example, if we want to know the average speed with two given speeds, we need to sum them and then, divide it into two.

Then,

From the statement we know that the initial velocity is at rest (0) and the final velocity is 16m/s, so we can calculate it using the following formula:

average=(v1+v2)/(2)=(0+16)/(2)=(8m)/(s)

Third:

The average velocity is 9 m/s

Why?

average=(v1+v2)/(2)=(10+28)/(2)=(19m)/(s)

Fourth:

The average velocity is 47 mph

Why?

average=(v1+v2)/(2)=(19+75)/(2)=47mph

Have a nice day!

1) Right answer:
9.8m/s^(2)

Gravity is a physical force with which the Earth exerts on all bodies towards its center due to the fact its mass is greater than the bodies on its surface.

Nevertheless, it is important to note that this value is not the same in all the points of the planet, that is why an average value is used, which is
9.8m/s^(2).

2) Right answer:
8m/s

The Average Velocity Formula is:

V_(average)=(V_(i)+V_(f))/(2)

Where
V_(i) is the Initial Velocity and
V_(f) is the Final Velocity.

Knowing this, let's apply the formula:

V_(average)=(0m/s+16m/s)/(2)

V_(average)=8m/s

3) Right answer:
19m/s

V_(average)=(10m/s+28m/s)/(2)

V_(average)=19m/s

4) Right answer:
47 mph

V_(average)=(19mph+75mph)/(2)

V_(average)=47mph
