Hello from MrBillDoesMath!

Answer:

28 Pi

Discussion:

Volume of a cylinder of height "h" and radius "r is given by the formula

Pi * r^2 * h

(Think of this are pushing the area of the circle or radius r up through a distance h)

In our case this equals

Pi * 2^2 * 7 =

Pi * 4 * 7 =

28 Pi

Thank you,

MrB

Answer:

V = 28π in ^3

Explanation:

The volume of a cylinder is given by the formula

V =pi r^2 h

We know the height is 7 and the radius is 2

We can substitute in. We must keep pi as pi to be exact,

V = pi * 2^2 *7

V = pi * 4*7

V =28 pi

V = 28π in ^3
