Answer:

(0,4.5)

(-6,0)

(1,5.2)

Explanation:

We have given a linear equation.

3x-4y = -18

We have to draw the graph of equation.

Solving given equation for y:

-4y = -3x-18

y = 3/4x+18/4 eq(1)

Putting x = 0 in above equation , we have

y = 3/4(0)+18/4

y = 18/4

y = 4.5

hence, (0,4.5) is one of solution of given equation.

Putting y= 0 in eq(1), we have

0 = 3/4x+18/4

3/4x = -18/4

3x = -18

x = -6

hence, (-6,0) is also solution of given equation.

Putting x = 1 in eq(1), we have

y = 3/4(1)+18/4

y = 3/4+18/4

y = 3+18/4

y = 21/4

y = 5.2

hence, (1,5.2) is also solution of given equation.

Answer:

point (0, 4.5)

point (-6, 0)

point (1 , 5.25)

Explanation:

The first step is to introduce values of x to the function to obtain three points that belong to the equation
3x-4y = -18

x = 0

3(0) -4y = -18\\\\y = 18/4 = 4.5

point (0, 4.5)

y = 0

3x-4(0) = -18\\\\x = -6

point (-6, 0)

x = 1

3(1) -4y = -18\\\\-4y = -18-3\\\\y = 21/4 = 5.25

point (1 , 5.25)

The graph of the function is shown in the attached image
