Serious ethical and moral problems include the emergence of new "technologies of conception" or artificial insemination, as well as the change of sex. The change of sex, which is widely practiced at present and involves many painful surgeries, often leads to the subsequent need of the patient to return to the original, which is already impossible.
The same ethical problems of modernity cause the topic of death, which is relevant in another perspective. Modern developed medicine technology saves lives of newborn children, obviously incapable of normal existence. In past times, the weak were killed under the influence of natural selection, surviving the fittest, and the population remained relatively healthy. Now the number of small invalids is rapidly multiplying. The humanistic principle of saving any appeared life comes in contradiction with the possibilities of society to contain such a multitude of patients, humanity as a whole turns out to be weaker. A reasonable and humane solution to this problem has not yet been found.
