PLEASE PLEASE HELP

Holiday lights are a great way to learn about the flow of electric current. Look for information how these holiday lights work when the lights are attached in series circuit compared to holiday lights attached in parallel circuit. Discuss what happen to the lights in these circuits as electricity flows or cut off at a certain point. Which holiday lights would you prefer to use during the holidays?

Answer:

Parallel lights would be best to use during the holidays.

Step-by-step explanation:

If the set of holiday lights on a series circuit is cut off in the middle, all of the lights would stop working. This would occur because in a series circuit, electrons can only travel along one path, and when that path is broken, current can no longer flow. If the same thing were to happen except the holiday lights were on a parallel circuit, only the incomplete paths or the ones that were cut would stop working. This means that some of the lights would work and some wouldn’t. In a parallel circuit, there is more than one path that electrons can travel along. If any of the paths are still complete, electrons will still flow. If the paths are incomplete, electrons will stop flowing.

if in series one lightbulb burns out the rest are unable to turn on.

In parallel a single light bulb burns out any other light bulbs are able to work.

Parallel is the best to use during holidays.
