Answer:

12x + 4y = - 7

Explanation:

The equation of a line in standard form is

Ax + By = C ( A is a positive integer and A, B are integers )

given

y +
(1)/(4) = - 3(x +
(1)/(2)) ← distribute

y +
(1)/(4) = - 3x -
(3)/(2)

Multiply through by 4 to eliminate the fractions

4y + 1 = - 12x - 6 ( add 12x to both sides )

12x + 4y + 1 = - 6 ( subtract 1 from both sides )

12x + 4y = - 7 ← in standard form
