Explanation;
A book falling from a table is an example of a free fall, and therefore the motion is under gravitational force as the only force acting on it.
Additionally, the acceleration of a free falling object is always constant, therefore the acceleration of the book will be a constant 9.8 m/s².
Therefore, the graph of acceleration against time for the book falling from a table will be a straight horizontal line at the point 9.8 m/s² on the vertical axis.
