~Hello There!~

Anything to a negative power, turns it into 1 over that number.

Therefore
49^{-(1)/(2) }  = (1)/(49(1)/(2) )

Anything to the power of a half, means you have to square root it.

Therefore, the first part is now
(1)/(7)

When you have a fraction as a power and both numbers are above one:

You must 'root' it by the denominator and put it to the power of the top number.

Therefore,
\sqrt[3]{64} = 4


4^(2) = 16

Now we have:


(1)/(7) * 16

Simply divide 16 by 7 to get the answer:

2.285714

However, since it is a long number, you can just leave it as
(16)/(7)
