To solve this problem you can draw a right triangle as the one shown in the figure attached, where
b is the height asked.

Then, you must apply the Pythagorean Theorem, which is shown below:


a^(2)=b^(2)+c^(2)

Where
a is the hypotenuse and
b and
c are the legs of the right triangle.

Now, you must solve for one the legs. Therefore, the result is:


b=\sqrt{a^(2)-c^(2)} \\b=\sqrt{(25m)^(2)-(7m)^(2)}\\b=24m

Therefore the kite is 24 meters above the ground.
