Answer:

We need

37.5 cups of blue

12.5 cups of green

50 cups of white

Explanation:

We need to convert all units to cups

1 1/2 quart blue

3/2 quarts blue

1 quart = 4 cups

3/2 quarts * 4 cups/ quart = 12/2 = 6 cups

1/2 gallon white

1 gallon = 16 cups

1/2 * 16 cups/1 gallon = 8 cups

Blue: Green : White : total

6 cups: 2 cups : 8 cups : 6+2+8

6 2 8 16

We need a total of 100 cups

100/16 =6.25

Multiply each number by 6.25

Blue: Green : White : total

6*6.25 2*6.25 8*6.25 16*6.25

37.5 12.5 50 100

We need

37.5 cups of blue

12.5 cups of green

50 cups of white
