When we put an object inside the water then the submerged part of the object will displace water.

this weight of displaced water is known as buoyancy force on the object

Now as we know the principle of flotation if buoyancy force due to fluid on the object is more than weight then object will easily float

So here we can say that

F_b > W

now here we know that buoyancy force is the weight of liquid which is displaced and that weight must be more than weight of object for flotation

So here we can say

So here we know that mass of object is 320 g

mass of liquid displaced 260 g

here

mass of liquid displaced < mass of object

So it will not float and it will sink
