Hello!

Answer:

D. No solution.

Explanation:

First, you divide by -5 from both sides of an equation.

(-5|x+1|)/(-5)=(10)/(-5)

|x+1|

10/-5=-2

|x+1|=-2

Therefore, there are no solution.

Hope this helps!

Have nice day! :)

Answer:

D. No solution

Explanation:

-5|x + 1| = 10

Divide each side by -5

-5/-5|x + 1| = 10/-5

|x + 1| = -2

An absolute value must be 0 or positive

This one is negative so there is no solution
